How To Donate
Donations to fund the construction costs are vital to ensure project completion. If you would like to support this effort you can participate in the following ways:
- Monetary Donation
Make a tax-deductible donation to LUC Outreach Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. 100% of your donation is applied directly to the project as all administrative costs and time are being donated. If your employer provides matching funds, contact us for the information necessary to request them.

| Macrina Benefit Dinner |
On July 18, 2009, 40 guests were treated to this special night, hosted by Leslie Mackie, founder of Macrina Bakery and four-time nominee for the prestigious James Beard Award. Leslie, her partner, and the Macrina staff once again generously partnered with LUC Outreach Foundation to raise money for this worthy cause.
This year's event was particularly special as it was held at Leslie and her partner's waterfront Vashon Island retreat, overlooking beautiful Puget Sound. Using seasonal ingredients from local producers and her own kitchen garden, Leslie's outstanding cooking combined with the scenic surroundings to create an unforgettable evening.
This is the second year Macrina has hosted a fundraising dinner in support of Lake Union Crew Outreach Foundation, and we are very proud to announce that $8,150 was raised for the San Francisco de Asis Community Center.
To all who donated and all who helped make this wonderful evening happen, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!
